On December 14, 2022, Wang Xiangyu, a world-renowned scholar and European Academy of Sciences Fellow (EUAS), and his delegation visited National Virtual Reality Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as “NCVR”) for technical guidance and exchanges. Sun Qimin, deputy general manager of Nanchang Virtual Reality Research Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as the “Institute”) which led the establishment of NCVR, warmly received the delegation.
Sun Qimin, deputy general manager of the Institute, introduced the latest achievements, construction goals and future planning of NCVR to Academician Wang Xiangyu and his delegation. During the discussion, Academician Wang Xiangyu discussed in depth the cutting-edge technology issues in the VR field with multiple scientists, and said that the current R&D directions and achievements of NCVR are advanced. He suggested that NCVR should continue to focus on key generic technology breakthrough in the industry in the future, so as to create national value for China's virtual reality development.
